Website Widget (Show Your Work on Your Website Automatically)

Display your check-ins on your website to build trust and turn visitors into customers.

How to Create and Install a Website Widget

Create a widget, customize how your check-ins appear, and add it to your website so new content shows up automatically.

The Website Widget displays your check-ins directly on your site. It helps visitors see real jobs, photos, locations, and reviews without manually updating your pages.

Create a widget

Navigate to: Map Check-Ins → Widget

Step 1: Add a new widget

  1. Click Add Widget.

  2. Open the Builder tab.

  3. Configure your widget settings.

  4. Click Save.

This creates a widget that pulls your check-ins and prepares them for display on your website.

✅ Result

Your widget is now created and ready to customize.

Customize the widget

Step 2: Adjust the widget settings

In the Builder tab, you can update settings such as:

  • layout

  • number of check-ins per page

  • map zoom

  • map height

  • card layout

  • media position

Use these settings to match your website layout and control how your check-ins are displayed.

Preview the widget

Step 3: Review the live preview

Use the preview panel on the right side of the screen.

The preview shows how the widget will look before you install it on your website.

This helps you catch layout issues before publishing.

Install the widget on your website

Navigate to: Map Check-Ins → Widget → Embed

Step 4: Copy and paste the embed code

  1. Copy the script code.

  2. Paste it into your website’s <body> section.

  3. Save and publish your website.

This script connects your website to your check-ins and loads them automatically.

⚠️ Warning

Make sure the script is added to the correct website and placed inside the <body> section. If it is added to the wrong page or wrong section, the widget may not display correctly.

✅ Result

Your website can now display your check-ins.

Understand how the widget updates

Step 5: Let new check-ins sync automatically

Once the widget is installed, it updates automatically.

Every time you publish a new check-in, it can appear on your website without any manual updates.

This helps keep your site fresh using real work your team is already completing.

Choose where to place the widget

Step 6: Add the widget to the right pages

For best results, place the widget on pages where visitors are most likely to look for proof of work.

Common options include:

  • homepage

  • service pages

  • landing pages

Choose pages where recent jobs, photos, and reviews can help build trust.

You’re all set

Your Website Widget is now ready to:

  • display real check-ins on your site

  • show completed jobs, photos, locations, and reviews

  • update automatically when new check-ins are published
